This MOMO steering wheel was fitted to the 'Wiggins Teape' Ford Capri for the 1972 season. Driven primarily by Brian Muir in BTCC, the car enjoyed plenty of domestic success but its high-point came in the 1972 Paul Ricard 6-Hour event. Driven by Muir & John Miles, the duo won the race from Jackie Stewart & Francois Cevert in the ‘works’ Ford entry. The wheel was taken off the car in period and given to the Wiggins Teape Racing Co-ordinator & famed photographer/author Peter Darley. The wheel is sold with a letter confirming its history from Darley.
